KaBe Contemporary is pleased to present for the first time in Miami the exhibition Circus Mundi by Rumanian artist, Adriana Jebeleanu. On view from March 12th through May 10th, 2011
Circus Mundi is a project devised by Jebeleanu which intends to convey a critique of the world’s historic, and current events as well as to the protagonists that lead, but furthermore, entertain us in the never-ending circus we live in. The Italian based artist presents a series of paintings and sculptures that follow the unique style acquired from the Rumanian Cluj-Napoca School.
Adriana Jebeleanu (1975- 2012) was a Rumanian artist who worked between Italy and Rumania.
Jebeleanu’s work has been showcased in a number of exhibitions around Europe such as the Prague Biennial in 2009, the Cluj National Art Museum in 2006, and will be part of a group exhibition in the Brukenthal Museum in Sibiu, Rumania. She was
also awarded with the Young Italian Artist award for three consecutive years.
